Comment: Lugton LU7. Amazing to think we are still using these metaphor signals in 2005. A rare sight that one day will be gone in favour of the bright coloured lights.

Comment: Interior of the Lugton Signal Box built in 1929. No of levers was reduced from about 46 to 26 in 1964. It's only a matter of time before we lose all the Boxes to computers.
