Comment: Dunlop House was completed in 1834, same year construction began on the Parish Kirk. Designed by famous Architect David Hamilton. Sold in 2000 by the Council, currently empty and boarded up.

Comment: Dunlop House Ayrshire. Records show a residence here as far back as 1260. Current structure built 1834, used by Ayrshire Mental Health till 2000 then they sold it to a property developer! Tut tut.
