Comment: Stumpy Tower Girvan, was purpose built as the Town Jail in 1827. Considering it's size I would say the crime rate was pretty low. |

Comment: Girvan's North Parish Church. For a small seaside town, this is a very large structure. Tower reaches more than 100 feet into the heavens. Interesting that there was no clock in the design. |

Comment: Girvan's North Parish Church. Can be seen on a clear day by boats 20 nautical miles away. Stonework was in excellent condition and has a tower that is the envy of many. |
