Comment: Hurlford Churches are dying. One has no clocks, the other sold as a house - this one is damp and lifeless with plywood for windows. The whole Ayrshire valley is becoming forgotten lands. |

Comment: This is the last propellor to be cast from the Strang's Foundry in Hurlford. Placed at the roundabout on the entrance to the village in 1984. Sadly there have been a lot of "lasts" for the Valley. |

Comment: Is it a Church.. is it an Abbey? No - it's someone house. How in the annuls of a modern society that Churches started appearing in Estate Agent windows - "For sale" is beyond my comprehension. |
